The 3 day is famous throughout Ireland and is the clubs most high profile event. Established by Noel McKinley in 1987 as the McKinley 3 day the race is still going strong as ever and it always sees a great battle around the roads of the Newry and Mourne area.Some of Irelands best have won this race and is a well sought after title to have of a cyclist list of victories.

The Club have acheived success in this event in 2008 with Kevin Lynch winning the race on the last day. Other members of the club who have come close have been Jan Sweeney and Mark McKinley both finished runners up in the race.

This years race will take place on the weekend of 17/18/19th June.
